Differences between British and American English

Did you know that Oscar Wilde said "Britain has everything in common with America, except of course, the language", and George Bernard Shaw "Great Britain and the United States of America are nations separated by a common language"?
Here are some differences in vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation between American and British English.
